Chabot, who faces a tough election challenge Democrat Aftab Pureval, sees big things ahead for Pence.
“I really believe that it is a very good chance that Mike Pence will be the next Republican President of the United States, after Donald Trump,” Chabot wrote on the day after the Vice-appearance of the President. “Whether it remains a Democratic President in the meantime, of course, to be seen. But, in my humble opinion, Mike Pence, is probably going to be decisions in the Oval Office one day.”

Until then, Pence, must have sympathized be satisfied with the more limited duties of the Vice-presidents – a lot in life, Adams would probably have.
According to WVXU Cincinnati radio, Adams once, according to the Vice-presidency “the most insignificant office that designed ever the invention of man or his imagination.”
