Peacock wriggles free after getting stuck in a pick-up truck’s grille: video

The driver of a vehicle that hit a peacock on Sunday saying that she was glad the bird survived after being stuck in the truck’s grille.

A video shows the peacock wriggling free, while a representative from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office tried the bird. Remarkably, the peacock walked away unscathed – just a few feathers lighter.

“Happy to say that the #peacock walked away from this encounter and proved to be uninjured,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a Twitter message.
