As a bride-to-be was left devastated after she ordered a peacock-themed wedding cake was made up to look like a “misalignment in turkey, with leprosy.”
Rena Davis, of Georgia, and had ordered the perfect wedding cake, after the show was laid out with a view of the same, she’d found online.

It’s an unusual design, it was supposed to have two birds, a heart-shaped sponge and chocolate cupcakes.
But what arrived was in marked contrast to the peacock’s head is falling off, and the “leaning” album.
Rena was totally devastated, and after forking $300 for a cake a month before the big day.
And despite the fact that he was re-assured it was all “to plan” in the weeks leading up to the wedding, the cake arrived the night before, and it was not what the 52-year-old thought of it.
As for the bakery took off, and the peacock’s head and, reportedly, fell off, and Rena realized that the fondant icing was actually buttercream.

Despite chasing it for a refund, Rena claims that she was at first refused, but after her ordeal on the social media, she received an envelope in the mail, including a $300 yesterday.
“I felt so heartbroken. I saw [the cake], and went out of the room,” she explained.
“It was a crooked mess, and nothing like I thought it would be.
“For[yesterday], and we have heard nothing from her since. She had not been called, or what have you.
“The only reason why they gave a refund now, as a result of the viral post.

“They said they couldn’t give me my money back in the first place, as they had been for 50 hours, and she had her mother to help.”
Rena says after the nurse dropped off the cake, she immediately text her to ask for a refund.
Instead, the bakery is back with “a box of Rice Crispies” in order to try and make a reconstruction of the bird.
According to Rena, the nurse even admitted she had a problem with the fondant icing, which allowed her to build up the sides of the buttercream.
“[Baker] had a birthday cake for my best friend for a time. Since then, she had allegedly done the firing of the school in the city,” she said.
“First of all, we sent her a picture with text in it, and she told me that she would be able to make it by the end of it.

“I called her and we agreed that she would make the cake, in the shape of a heart, and a paw to the two.
“They came in the night before the wedding. They put it on the table, and all the while, I have been looking at this cake thinking, ” really, are you serious?’
“I walked out of the room. I didn’t have anything else to say to her.
“Five minutes after they had left, one of the peacocks’ heads had fallen off. I texted her and asked for my money back, but they said that they would have to think that’s what they had to do it,” she said.
