Paul Ryan shunned by dozens of middle school students during the photo-op

A group of New Jersey eighth-grade students trained speaker of the house of representatives Paul Ryan about his lack of willingness to criticism from President Trump.

About half of the more than 200 students from South Orange middle school, refused for a photo posing with Ryan for a school trip to Washington, DC, last Thursday.

Matthew male spina, 13, waited on the road with other classmates back, said to be in the picture with the Wisconsin Republicans, that the school of the night informed, prior to the photo op on the Capitol steps.

“I was like, ‘Oh, God, I’m in a picture with this man.’ I texted my mom, because my mom, Paul Ryan hates as well,” Matthew told the Post on Sunday. “And I said to her, Oh, God, I can’t do that. I can’t take a photo with him.’ She said that was totally fine, just be respectful.”

In the photo was not mandatory, Matthew said he was surprised by the number of students, agreed to turn, because of the lack of support among the students for Trump.

“Our school is pretty liberal. I only know of three trump-Fans in our class, and there are a lot of people in our class. It is therefore quite liberal. [Teachers] knew that a lot of people don’t, like Paul Ryan,” he said. “But they gave us the opportunity. I was shocked by the number of people who wanted to join me and my friends, a picture of him. It was like half of the class.”

His mother, Elissa times, spina said, she is proud of her son for standing up for his principles.

“I’m not proud of him, that he chose not to do so, and I’m proud of it, he did it in a respectful manner,” she told the Post. “Yes, he [Ryan] is the third most powerful person in the nation, technically, but I do not agree with his stance on a lot of things and it is not also my child.”
