Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still good friends
Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney can be almost fifty years after the end of The Beatles is still good with each other.
McCartney hesitated not when Starr called him asking if he wanted to play on a song for his new album, tells Starr in Rolling Stone.
“I said to him that I a song had made where I like wanted to go,” said the 77-year-old drummer. “Since he is a good friend, he said that he was going to Los Angeles would come.”
When he once was playing McCartney also on a different number of Starr, called We’re on the road again. “That was very nice of him.”
According to Starr, is McCartney, despite his age of 75 years still an ‘amazing musician’. “He can be great singing and writing, but for me he is as a bass player at best. It’s always fun when we play together.”
