Passenger arrested after bomgrap at the airport of Brussels
At Brussels Airport is Saturday morning, a man was arrested who, when boarding a plane from Ryanair, with destination Madrid as possible, as a joke, “something called out in connection with bombs that he meehad”.
This says a spokesperson of the public prosecutor’s office of Halle-Vilvoorde.
The pilot immediately sent after the note of the man the unit, evacuate and search, but there was nothing suspicious found. Eventually the plane with about a two hour delay still leave for Spain.
The detainee is a man of 51 years old from Wallonia. He was part of a larger group, and probably under the influence of alcohol “a stupid mistake”. The authorities take the case, however, high: “It is a threat with an attack”, even though there is no evidence that he actually was planning.
