Paris Hilton is mourning the loss of her hotelier grandfather, Barron Hilton, who passed away on Thursday.
The company, a philanthropist, and a former president and chief executive officer of Hilton Hotels Corporation, has died at 91, as is also confirmed by a statement from the Hilton family foundation.
The 38-year-old heiress took to social media to pay tribute to and after the pictures of her family.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of my grandfather, Barron Hilton,” she wrote. “He was a Legend, a visionary, a brilliant, good-looking, friendly, and living a life of fulfillment and adventure.”
“Ever since I was a little girl, I looked up to him as a business man,” Paris continued. “I am so very thankful that it was such an incredible mentor. I have always wanted to make him proud. The last conversation we had a couple of days ago, I shared with him how much of an impact he had on my life. His spirit, heart and legacy will live in me.”

She also added that she takes comfort in knowing that he and his wife (her grandmother) were united in the heavens.

“My grandmother, Marilyn, was one of the most beautiful women on the inside and the outside. She was charismatic, fun, full of life, and he had a heart of gold,” she wrote.
“They were high school sweethearts who got married and had 8 children. She was a wonderful, loving and exciting life together,” she said. “She was one of those rare couples that were meant to be. Their love, loyalty, faithfulness, commitment, and life together has always been an inspiration to me as well. I’m going to miss them so much and will be forever grateful to have witnessed such a pure and true love. Do you like Nanu and Papa, thank you.”

Barron is survived by eight children, 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
