Deputies say that several people recognized Swanger of the surveillance photos that were released.

Buck magic trick told FOX 12 he saw one of those pictures of the Thursday morning and called 911.

Magic trick, he says, once lived in the transitional house, where Swanger was life. He adds the 24-year-old kept to himself and was quiet for a moment, but kept his family away from Swanger.

Magic trick, he says, now lives on the other side of the street from the house.

“It is disgusting to me, you know, hearing what happened to this old man,” Sleight said. “He did not deserve that so I think that everything they give him, he gets what he deserves.”

The researchers said that the suspect was sitting in a cubicle in the vicinity of a 69-year-old man. Deputies said surveillance video showed the suspect dump the liquid on the victim and then throw a lit item on him. A large flash led and the victim was seriously injured.
