An Oregon father, who reported a house robbery in March, admitted Monday he made it up to hide the fact that he would be paid $700 for an erotic massage with his daughter’s Girl Scout cookie profits, prosecutors said.
Brian David Couture, 40, pleaded guilty on Monday to the initiation of a false report, Fox 12 reported. Couture called the police on March 6, to report a robbery in his Forest home near Portland. He has reportedly told the police that he struggled with an intruder. Police allegedly found Couture unresponsive and he was taken to a hospital.

Couture house was ransacked and $700 of his daughter’s Girl Scout cookie sale absence of a pot, researchers said. The Washington County District Attorney’s Office said blood was found around the house.

No suspects were found and the investigators caught inconsistencies in Couture story. He eventually admitted to staging the burglary after the realization that he could not explain the missing funds, the district attorney’s office said.

Couture Monday was ordered to pay a $100 fine, probation and 80 hours of community service, a press release said. The amount of the refund to be paid will be determined at a later date, according to the release.
