Oranjevrouwen without the Sanden and Dekker for Algarve Cup

The Oranjevrouwen need the next week at the Algarve Cup in Portugal without Shanice van de Sanden and Anouk Dekker. The attacker of Olympique Lyon and defender of Montpellier contend with a bovenbeenblessure.

Stefanie van der Gragt is there again. The defender of FC Barcelona was a long time on the side because of injuries.

Van der Gragt made in June during the world cup qualifier against Slovakia (1-0 win) her last speelminuten as international.

Daniëlle van de Donk can also get back in action. The midfielder of Arsenal was missing in January during the practice game against South Africa (2-1 win) because of a muscle injury.

Coach Sarina Wiegman let Ashleigh Weerden debut in her selection. The 19-year-old attacker of FC Twente this season, one of the revelations in the Eredivisie.

The netherlands, first against Spain and Poland

The netherlands takes on the Algarve Cup, first against Spain (27 February, 18.15 hours) and Poland (4 march, 18.30), and on 6 march the finals to place 1 to 12 are finished in Estádio Municipal da Bela Vista in Parchal.
