Sherida Pointed and shot the Oranjevrouwen after twenty minutes of play the lead in Rotterdam. The middenveldster took advantage of a penalty after Daniëlle van de Donk was laid down in the penalty area.
In the second half were the best chances for Denmark, but keepster Sari van Veenendaal loved Orange on the leg. By the narrow victory, the Oranjevrouwen, that the opener against Norway with a 1-0 win, with six points to lead group A.

As well as Sunday against Norway was Orange Thursday against Denmark immediately the better team. In the first ten minutes there were already two kansjes for Vivianne Miedema and both times it was Shanice van de Sanden declarant. First knew Miedema the ball just inside to slip and then missed her header power.
After fourteen minutes there was again a leading role for Miedema, though it was a unfortunate. The 21-year-old striker of Arsenal blokte accidentally a shot of Jackie Greens, giving a head start for the Netherlands did not come.
Five minutes later, it was still touch for Orange. Danielle van de Donk was filed by Nanna Christiansen and the referee pointed to the strafschopstip. From eleven meters remained Sherida Pointed, that her 135th international match played in cool (1-0).
While the public is still to the repetition looked on the scoreboard of The Castle, it was almost the same. The Danish captain Pernille Harder had the ball on ten metres from the goal just knocking, but her attempt did not go far enough to the corner. With a stylish rescue could keepster Van Veenendaal, therefore, the equalizer is prevented.
The lead of the Netherlands made sure that Denmark has more out of the shell, had to crawl, though it remained the biggest opportunities for peace for the Netherlands. The Sanden turned away from her direct opponent, but knew keepster Stina Lykke Petersen can’t be beat. Also Lieke Martens got the ball in, making it at peace, still 1-0.

Where in the Netherlands in the first half still dominated, it was after the rest of Denmark that it has in hands took. Five minutes after the rest got Sanne Troelsgaard all of the ideal opportunity to score, but the middenveldster shot in the eye From Veenendaal about the purpose.
A moment later, it was again Troelsgaard with a dangerous shot, but defender Anouk Dekker threw herself in front of the ball and prevented thereby the equalizer. Orange had to mostly stop, but I got it after 54 mins also still a great option. Martens if on the edge of the penalty area parks for a free kick, but her bet was not placed, and therefore a prey to the Danish keepster Petersen.
On that one chance of Orange after it was a large part of the second half, a one-way on The Castle, but Van Veenendaal held her team cleverly on the leg. The keepster grip excellent in attempts of Pernille Harder and again Troelsgaard. In the final stage, got Orange in the counter minor features to the game in the slot to throw, but it remained at 1-0 in Rotterdam.
