Orange-debutant The Is realize yet how fast he goes
Matthijs de ligt says that he hasn’t completely realize how quickly he is doing. The 17-year-old defender from Ajax, reported Monday for the first time at the Dutch national team.
“It’s a very fast, but time to think about missing,” said The Is on arrival at the hotel van Oranje in Noordwijk for the camera of NUsport. “The awareness of what is now happening will, therefore, only after the season.”
Nerves are also not in the Is, which is only seven Eredivisiewedstrijden played for Ajax. “I have good sleep and feel no real tension, though this is of course the big Orange. That I against Excelsior was a mistake, however, is a small smetje. But it has no sense more to this brooding.”
“It feels great that I now can show here. I think that I can learn from the other players and it would be nice if I get my debut. But we see that at the end of the week.”

“If I’m honest I say that kind of statistics, me not so much. I don’t want me here just show up and then age doesn’t matter much. But I have Ajax team-mate Kenny Tete and Davy Klaassen talked about how the there in Orange. I’m curious if in practice how it works.”
The world cup qualifier of Orange against Bulgaria starts on Saturday at 20.45 hours in Sofia. Four days later, on Tuesday, is in the Arena for the friendly against Italy.
