The Dutch national team ends the year on the fourteenth place of the world ranking, the new ranking that Thursday by FIFA has been published. It is the best position in three years.
Orange decided 2014 as number five of the world, but heard in the years that followed, not to the top. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, the year ended on the 14th, 22nd and 20th position.
During the first FIFA ranking of this year and occupied the Netherlands, the 21st place. Thanks to the good performance under coach Ronald Koeman is Orange now risen to fourteen.
In the top ten in the last month of the year shifts to more place, which means that Belgium is still the number one, followed by France, Brazil, Croatia, England, Portugal, Uruguay, Switzerland, Spain and Denmark.
Kosovo may be the biggest riser of 2018 call on the FIFA-ranking, because it stands in comparison with december of last year, less than 46 places higher: 177 to 131. Also Kuwait (+31) and El Salvador (+30) have improved a lot.

Orange lost only two times
The Dutch team played this calendar year, which it lacked at the world cup in Russia, ten matches and lost only England (0-1, friendly) and France (2-1, Nations League).
