Oprah Winfrey spoke of the mass executions in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, which took the lives of dozens of people in the room.

The famous talk-show host says in a new interview, she feels that the reason behind the recent string of violence is that the people are “masses” of a “core of moral center.”

“I think a lot of people are missing a core moral center,” Winfrey told Extra’s Renee Bargh.

This is not the first time that the 65-year-old opened up about mass shootings. In May of 2018 and beyond, Winfrey wrote in an article for her magazine entitled “Why It’s Time To Stand up” to gun violence.”

She concluded: “it is my hope and prayer is that you have to agree: It’s time to stand up and stand together for the sake of all of us.”
