Oppo shows prototype of a foldable smartphone at the photos

The Chinese phone manufacturer Oppo has images shared in which a folding phone of the company to see. The device is similar to the Degree X of Huawei.

The photos were by Oppo ceo Brian Shen shared on Weibo. Yet, it would go to a prototype. In the message with the photos reports Shen that first there is enough demand to foldable phones, before Oppo model on the market.

On the pictures you can see that the screen on the outside is placed. Just as with the Extent X of Huawei is on one side of the unit for a thicker edge, where the screen is connected when it is closed. This is the phone in the folded state flat.

In the outskirts, space is created for components such as camera lenses. To the screen itself are quite thick edges. The display is in the corners rounded.

More details about the prototype are not known. Thus, it is unclear what the apps are and what a display it is exactly. Oppo showed earlier this week its first 5G phone on MWC and a camera module that allows smartphone users reportedly ten times without any loss of quality able to zoom in.
