One and a half years in prison for the Israeli military injured a Palestinian doodschoot
The military court in Tel Aviv Tuesday, the Israeli sergeant Elor Azariah sentenced to a prison sentence of eighteen months for the killing of a wounded 21-year-old Palestinian aanslagpleger in Hebron in march 2016.
The medic shot the Palestinian in the head while wounded and motionless on the floor. That was captured on video by a human rights activist.
The prosecutors had a prison sentence of three to five years is required. Outside the court waited hundreds of demonstrators from the judgment.
Last January there was a military court, Azariah guilty of manslaughter. The judges, who until the judgement came, that he found no reason for the Palestinians to shoot it dead. “He made himself judge and executioner”, was the verdict.
