Omission of temporary workers less than permanent employees
More employees with a permanent contract report themselves sick than people who are temporarily in service. The default under the first group is 4 percent, while in the second group to more than 2 per cent.
That is in the Arbobalans 2016, TNO, writes Trouw.
Also stand-by workers, invaders, temporary workers, entrepreneurs and self-employed persons report sick less often than permanent workers.
That is according to TNO partly due to the fact that employees with a flexible contract are selected on their health. If they are often sick, they are less likely to be asked for a new flexible contract.
Entrepreneurs and self-employed is that there are direct financial consequences attached to their absence. The largest part of the self-employed says little pressure to be experienced, with the exception of self-employed persons who are employed in sectors such as trade, business services and transport.
In total says 14 percent of the employees in fixed service serious burn-outklachten to have, compared to 7 percent among self-employed entrepreneurs. In the care and education is a quarter of the staff at a burn-out, but also bus drivers, train drivers and employees of the police and fire departments often have stress.
