Olympian Lolo Jones tweets updates while stuck on a plane in Atlanta Airport power outage

If the power outage at the Atlanta Airport continues to cause a headache for travellers, the Olympic games Lolo Jones is one of the frames of dissatisfied customers stuck at the busiest airport in the nation.

As previously reported, a power outage has forced the Federal Aviation Administration to suspend outgoing flights and to implement a “ground stop” for incoming flights. As a result of the power failure, that Georgia Power believes was the result of “a fire that caused major damage in Georgia power for underground electrical installation,” lots of hanging around in the dark from the airport terminal or, in Jones’ case, on their plane, unable to disembark.

“Hello, yes, I would like to order a pizza, the delivery address, Atlanta airport runway,” The star wrote in a short thread on Twitter. “Landed an hour ago from Germany can’t get off just before christ, customs and outages, but was able to customs clear a pizza to come aboard?”

Also looking for a place to stay, the hotels are booked. I will be hungry, jet-lagged, slightly annoyed and not want to talk, everyone has a free room in Atlanta?

The Olympic hurdler covered her Twitter updates with a joke tweet about her hunger level as she continues to wait for her plane.

Staff at the airport is reportedly working to restore power, but hundreds of flights had to be cancelled in the meantime.
