Oklahoma woman wakes up to find a coyote in her bedroom
Bonnie Moriarty was sleeping when a noise woke her up, with her cat and a wild coyote came in her bedroom.
When Bonnie Moriarty heard her cat hiss in the middle of the night, she took her dog picked a fight with the feline. A moment later, the cat ran into her bedroom — with a large animal behind.
At first, Moriarty took her dog was chasing the cat. But if they took a closer look, she realized that it was not her pup after all: it was a coyote.
“I woke up and the cat and the coyote (ran) in my room. It was still dark,” Moriarty, of Bixby, Oklahoma, told Fox 23.
Moriarty for the first time, heard what they described as a “cat fight” around 4 a.m. She flipped on the lights and the creature, sitting in the corner of her room. Quickly, Moriarty picked up a golf club for protection.

“My husband was out of town and my poor children were up, and I’m screaming,” she described to the news station.
Moriarty’s Miniature Schnauzer soon came into the room and began to bark at the wild animal, but the coyote remained calm and didn’t respond. It is just crouched down on the ground and remained silent.
“Then I realized, ‘Holy crud, I have a coyote stuck in my bedroom,'” Moriarty recalled.
The Oklahoma mom called 911 for backup and three officers arrived shortly after.

The Bixby police, equipped with a catcher pole, surrounded the animal and the loop around the neck. They managed to pull the essence of the bedroom and gave the safe in a wooded area.
Moriarty is of the opinion that the coyote is seduced by her cat, managed to get through her back door.
“He … turned on the door and the door went open,” she said.
