PARIS (Reuters) – Oil major Total is not the risk will not be in the production of batteries for electric vehicles, said Total’s chairman and chief executive Patrick Pouyanne on Thursday.
He also said that the group was in talks with other companies on a battery of the consortium, with the addition that it would need financial support.
France and Germany started in April, with a European battery cell and a consortium, including car maker PSA with its German daughter Opel and French battery maker Saft, which is a part of the whole.
