Congressman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has not yet started her new job, but she’s already a break.

The democratic Socialist said on Monday that it will take time, a week’s break for “self-care” after feeling burnt out and complained that her political activity changed their life style.

“I’m just a week of self-care where I am during the week free and take care of me. I don’t know how to do that, though, so I would appreciate any and all self-care tips,” she said in an Instagram video.

“For the working people, the immigrants and the poor, self-care is political, not because we want to, but BC of the inevitable, the need to adjust someone else’s face does mask while you are stressed out financially. So I have decided to, others with me on IG, how do I learn the meaning of self-care self-and why it’s important,” she added on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez, crashes powerful New York, Joe Crowley, a Democrat at the beginning of this year, during the primary election and easily cruised to victory in General elections, as they had no real opposition, went on to say that since your entry into politics and activism, you had to style your comfortable life.

“Before the action, I used to practice yoga 3-4x/week, eat nutritious, read and write in leisure time,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Instagram. “Once everything is stirred up, that all went out the window. I went from doing yoga and wild rice and salmon for dinner eat fast food for dinner and falling asleep in my jeans and make-up.”

“I keep things that I think raw and honest here, because that public servants do a disservice to our communities by pretending to be perfect,” she added. “It makes things more difficult for others who aspire to lead one day, if you think you have superhuman before you try.”

The New York Democrat, disclosed that they decided to spend a few days in the middle of nowhere” in upstate New York.

Ocasio-Cortez, along with other newly-elected legislators begin their terms of office on Jan. 3.
