U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, bat in President Donald Trump on Monday, after the freshman legislators mocked the controversial “Green New Deal” during a rally in El Paso, Texas.

Trump mocked, the Green New Deal – an economic stimulus plan to combat income inequality and climate change – as a “massive government takeover that would destroy the incredible economic benefits,” the United States has made under his administration.

“Sounds like a high school term paper, which has a low mark,” he laughed.

Ocasio-Cortez, the President mocked the allusion to the literary talent, retorting: “Ah, Yes, a man who not once, briefings, reading in writing in full sentences, literary criticism of a house resolution.”
