House Intelligence Committee ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes on the efforts to educate the investigators.

The top Republican on the house Intelligence Committee on Wednesday called on President Trump to ask the Prime Minister, Theresa May, whether the British supported the intelligence activities that targeted at his campaign staff, or coordinated in any way with the author of the unaudited trump “dossier” – as the President prepares for a state visit to the UK in June.

“I respect that you ask the Prime Minister about the British government’s knowledge of the Steele dossier and whether the British government has a unilateral action on the basis of the information of [Christopher] Steele or at the request of a U.S.-departments,” California Republican Rep. Devin Nunes wrote in a letter to Trump, exclusively obtained by Fox News.

Nunes may, cited by 19 article in the Telegraph with the title “Theresa May’ s spy chiefs were informed about the explosive Christopher Steele dossier in front of Donald Trump.” The report said the heads of MI5 and MI6 and top adviser was said about Steele’s slippery notes on the Trump campaign after his 2016 election victory-in front of the Trump was made aware of.

The article raised says, “important questions about the possible role that can be played foreign officials in the dissemination of the dossier’s false allegations and what action you have taken in response to the allegations,” Nunes with a series of questions, to ask for Trump, it Can put.

“The British government is aware of, it has to give permission for, or participation in the activities of the guards of a government to or otherwise target the active or former employees of the Trump campaign, if such monitoring took place?” Nunes wrote.

Another suggested question is: “Describe any communication or relationship, if any, of Joseph Mifsud … had the “British intelligence” and all of the information has the British government about Mifsud connection to any other government or secret service.”

Nunes, who has access to classified records on the matter, at the forefront of the investigation of the Genesis of the Trump-Russia agreement sample. Trump told Fox News earlier this month that he declassify related materials soon.

At the beginning of this week, Nunes told Fox News that the FBI had “something to hide” in relation to Mifsud, a Maltese-academics, allegedly of the former trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos told in April 2016, Russia will have to touch harmful information on Trump the rival, Hillary Clinton, finally, from the original FBI probe. Papadopoulos has accused Mifsud, one of the many spies of the intention of on the proven “bad intelligence.”

George Papadopoulos (left) pleaded guilty in October to lying to the FBI about his conversations with the Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud (right).

“He is the first person we know of on earth who supposedly knows something about the Russians, Hillary’s E-Mails,” Nunes told “Fox News @ Night.” “He has since denied, but on the [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller, in his report, claimed that Mifsud indicated — or that Mifsud was a kind of Russian capital. We don’t know that this is not the case. In fact, we know that he was in the U.S. Capitol … only a few steps from the intelligence committee.”

Nunes’ letter to Trump a drill-down on how deeply reliant the intelligence community was on Steele, whose case has played a Central role in obtaining a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) guarantee monitor former Trump aide Carter page.

A report from The Hill John Solomon earlier this month noted that the FBI was told that Steele had admitted to a contact at the State Department that he was “sharp” the expiry of the Dossiers for the purpose of influencing the election in 2016. The officials of the State Department, further concerns about the accuracy of his claims. Steele also confirmed the dossier was sponsored by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton campaign. The FBI has not one fact, the FISA court.

In addition, the FBI, the FISA court said on four occasions that it is “faith” Steele is the direct source for a Yahoo News article), the page is in Russian consultation was. But London court records show that, in contrast to the FBI assessments, Steele informed Yahoo News and other reporters, in the fall of 2016 in the direction of Fusion GPS-opposition research-the company behind the dossier.

Reads a question in Nunes’ letter: “Has Christopher Steele to inform any current or former British secret service or government officials on the allegations that he laid in Steele dossier, or any other allegations to President trump or trump campaign associates agreements with the Russians? If Yes, please describe what action British officials in response to this information.”

CIA, FBI and DNI to work with attorney General Bill Barr, in order to determine the origins of the Trump-Russia-probe

The former U.S. attorney Andy McCarthy says of the General inspector Michael Horowitz’s regulatory investigation is a” fishing expedition.’

And a follow-up to: “Has a current or former British intelligence or government representatives discuss with Christopher Steele the opportunity, Steele write additional notes about President trump or trump card of employee collusion with the Russians? If Yes, what are the instructions that the British give Steele and when was this advice?”

Nunes is trying to also probe the possible coordination between US and British officials.

“Has a current or former U.S. government or intelligence officials, they inform all of the current or former British government or the intelligence officials about Steele’s allegations or any other allegations about President trump or trump campaign associates agreements with the Russians, if others exist such accusations? If Yes, please describe the circumstances and the timing of this message and any resulting actions carried out,” Nunes wrote.

As a trump card of his own justice Department, a review starts in the origins of the Russia-probes, Nunes’ letter suggests that the hunt for details overseas could lead. He also asked if all of the British Registrar General “classified or unclassified information to all current or former U.S. officials about alleged contacts between trump employees and alleged Russian intelligence service officials, when such information is available?”

Nunes concluded, “Has a current or former British officials, the assessment of Christopher Steele, including the determination of his credibility, or Motivation, to current or former U.S. intelligence, law enforcement, or government officials, or presidential transition team members?”
