Number of male teachers in primary schools drops further
There are fewer and fewer male teachers at the elementary school. In 2015 was one of the eight leerklarchten in primary school man.
This is evident from an analysis of LocalFocus on the basis of figures from Dienst uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO) on 2015, the most recent year for which data are available.
The number of men that for the class has been declining for years. In 2011 there were 15.386 male teachers for groups 1 through 8, last year there were still to 13,000. On average, the number of men for the basisschoolklas with 4 percent year on year, compared to a decrease of 1 percent among female primary-school teachers.

British national party lobbied earlier this year for more male teachers in primary schools. The party wants to include ” greater opportunities for male transfer students, and more full-time jobs.
