‘Nuchterheidscoach’ oversees rapper DMX
DMX may next week have to travel to Atlanta for a concert, under the condition that he 24 hour per day monitored by a so-called nuchterheidscoach.
That decided, the court in New York, reports New York Daily News.
“We are thrilled with the decision of the court to mr. Simmons to give the opportunity to act and to continue his career”, let DMX’ lawyer know in a comment. The rapper must also pay for the services of the nuchterheidscoach.
DMX the court must always ask for permission to leave the city. The 46-year-old rapper, aka Earl Simmons, has house arrest and an ankle bracelet. The court took these measures because he several times positively tested on cocaine and marijuana in his blood.
This broke the conditions of his release. The rapper is on conditional release pending his trial on tax evasion.
