Rail passengers experienced Tuesday problems at check in and check out at the gates of the NS. According to the customer service of the NS that was due to a nationwide malfunction.
On the storingenwebsite Allestoringen.nl came Tuesday afternoon hundreds of reports of people who encountered the problems. Most of them said not to check out the train.
The jam took about an hour and was around 15.45 pm resolved.
In – and uitcheckpalen at various stations were out of service. The problems were all over the Netherlands.
It is not clear what the cause of the failure was. On Twitter advised the NS webcare customers order through an online page to check out.

If you check in then you can the best a single ticket or e-ticket purchase at the station or via the app.
If you do this too much paid for your trip, then you can go afterwards to us for a refund request.
