NS and ProRail starting test with instapzones

NS and ProRail want instapzones on the platform in the go area so that travelers feel better about the train spread.
The carrier and the railway infrastructure manager to launch next year a test with Sprinters on the track between Amsterdam Centraal and Eindhoven, the netherlands, reported that the AD Wednesday.
“We saw too often that people just huddled stood still and then a complaint to us were on the full train,” says a spokesman at the newspaper.
The zone must be a defined area that, at the beginning and the end is marked with a blue sign. The width of the area will be approximately fifty meters. The zone will be at each station to be otherwise placed, so that travelers be smart be distributed on the train.
The idea is borrowed from Japan, where instapzones been a success turn out to be. The NS did already a test with instapzones.
