Joost Luiten has Saturday in the third round of the Qatar Masters in Doha not significantly improve. He came up with 71 strokes, one under par, and is thus 43rd.
The 31-year-old Bleiswijker was far from fine and now stands at a total of 212 strokes. That there are eleven more than the South Korean Wang Jeunghun, that after three rounds in the lead.
“It was not super today, and that had more to do with poor preparation,” reported Lutes on his website.
“I was not at all good, had for the round to vomit and got to hole two a nosebleed. It is a flu or I have something wrong eaten. I created in the third round odds, but commonly they are not and that is a bit the problem of the past two weeks.”
The South Korean Wang has after a round of 65 (seven under par) a nice head start. The South African Jaco van Zyl and the Spaniard Nacho Elvira follow with three strokes behind.
