A Senior North Korean official arrival in NYC meeting with Secretary of state Pompeo; chief White House correspondent John Roberts reports.

North Korea’s longtime spy chief arrived in New York City, meeting with Secretary of state Mike Pompeo in an attempt to rescue dictator Kim Jong-Un and President Donald Trump’s summit.

Kim Yong Chol, Kim ‘s infamous right hand man and Deputy Chairman of the ruling workers’ party, landed in JFK International Airport around 2 p.m. Wednesday, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported.

Kim Yong Chol is coming to the Millenium Hilton Hotel in New York City to speak with Secretary of state Mike Pompeo on Wednesday.

The North Korean visit, the highest official from the Communist nation to the US since the year 2000.

Trump tweeted on Tuesday about Kim’s imminent visit, which comes ahead of a possible 12. The June summit between the North and the U.S. “We have wrote a great team, together, for our talks with North Korea,” Trump. “Meeting on the summit, and more.”
