A man shot and killed his wife and five other members of the family in North Carolina before you can get the gun on himself, according to a report published on Monday.
The apparent murder-suicide happened Sunday afternoon in the quiet little town of Moncure.
One of the victims was a 93-year-old woman, Helen Barrett, the officials said. The other victims were Jeanie, Ray, 67; Ellis, Mansfield, 73; Lisa Mansfield, 54; pope John Paul Sanderford, 41; Nicole Sanderford, 39.

According to a member of the family of the shooter, it was Ray’s husband, 66-year-old Larry Ray, the station reported, WRAL-TV reported.
It was not clear how the victims were related to each other.
Officials would only say that the shooter was among the victims.
The delegates arrived at the three homes, which is located at the address, according to WRAL.
“Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims of this terrible tragedy,” Chatham County Sheriff Mike Roberson said, according to Fox 8 In Greensboro. “Losing any family member is devastating, but to lose some time to unexpected violence, which is incredible. There are no words to describe the sense of loss we feel as a community in the wake of this terrible event.”
