A 9-year-old boy robbed at gunpoint outside his lemonade stand in North Carolina, researchers said.

A 9-year-old boy was robbed at his lemonade stand in Union County, N. C., Saturday afternoon.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the entrance of St. John’s Forest for around 3 hours
Deputies say the boy was approached by a black male teen dressed in a camouflage hat and black shirt. The teen allegedly put a black gun to the guys stomach and demanded money. The teen then fled on foot and the boy was not injured.

Deputies searched the area and found a trail in the woods near where the hat, black CURRANT with a handgun and a metal tin that the cash was found. Deputies believe that the suspect left a bike and ran from there to the lemonade stand for the robbery.
