Three members of a North Carolina assisted living facility was arrested after police said they went to a fight club to with elderly people suffering from dementia will compete against each other.

The women were accused in court documents of film, and even encouraging, a fight between a 70-year-old woman and a 73-year-old woman in the Danby House assisted living and memory care facility in Winston-Salem Fox 8 In High Point and other local media reported.

Marilyn Latish McKey, 32, Tonacia Yvonne Tyson, 20, and Taneshia Deshawn Jordan, 26, has been charged with assaulting a person with a disability, according to the report.

Winston-Salem police department had been arrested on Friday in connection with an investigation into, a complaint of elder abuse at the facility.

“If you’re talking about a person who does not take care of themselves, we have to pay specific attention to it,” Lt. Gregory Dorn, told Fox 8.

Documents from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, shows that during the filming of the fight one of the combatants, was heard to shout, “let go, “” help me, help me, let’s go,” as McKey, Tyson, and Jordan continued to look at the Winston-Salem Journal reported.

Fox 8 reported that two of the arrested women, could not be reached for comment, and that the third party declined to comment.
