Noorbrabants Museum wins with Bosch-exhibition of the prestigious art prize
The Noordbrabants Museum has collaborated with the Museo Nacional del Prado, a prestigious Global Fine Art Award for the exhibition Hieronymus Bosch – Visions of a genius.
The two museums respectively in Den Bosch and Madrid shared a large part of the exhibition, that the five hundredth anniversary of the death of Bosch was commemorated.
Director Charles de Mooij of the Bosch museum took the prize Saturday evening (local time) in New York. The two art institutions, won in the category Renaissance, Baroque, Old Masters, Dynasties – solo-artist.
The Noordbrabants Museum is the first Dutch museum to a Global Fine Art Award wins. The awards are given annually to the best exhibitions all over the world, by a committee of international experts.
