Nine miners in a mine in Russia come down to sit by a fire. Rescue workers could still not reach by the great heat and the smoke in the kalimijn in the city of Solikamsk in the Perm region.
Eight miners were unharmed from the mine. The group that stuck, is located about 350 meters depth. They are equipped with oxygen bottles. The authorities fear that they have died.
Local media reported that the fire originated from a methaanlek, but that was by the authorities objected to. The fire took about 8.00 am Dutch time.
Solikamsk is located approximately 1,500 kilometres northeast of Moscow.
