Nikki Haley, the US Ambassador to the United Nations, drawing criticism about the curtains in your official residence will cost almost $53,000 — bought in the midst of deep budget cuts in the State Department. The Problem is, the purchase was approved in the year 2016, under the Obama administration.

The New York Times reported this week that $52,701 was spent last year on the purchase of adapted and mechanized curtains for the window in Haley’s New York City residence, for the rent is $58,000 per month.

But the paper did not mention until the sixth paragraph that Haley said the speaker, the trump administration had no input in the purchase.

Some online critics have missed, apparently, that detail.
