Nigerian president calls for extension of sick
The Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian parliament Sunday called for a renewal of the two weeks sick leave which he took to medical tests to undergo in Britain.
According to a spokesperson of the president was Buhari plans Sunday evening to travel back to the Nigerian capital Abuja. The British doctors initially advised him, however, the series of medical tests to complete and the results have to wait.
An extension of the sick leave of the president would have his image further damage. Critics claim that his government is characterised by slack and daadloosheid.
