Emmy-nominated actress, Niecy Nash has come a long way from her tough childhood, which have recently been discussing one of the most famous domestic violence incident she witnessed as a child at the hands of her mother, and her then-boyfriend.
In a new clip from Nash’s upcoming appearance on TVOne’s “Uncensored”, and the “Jaws” star, the details of the night her mother, Margaret Ensley, was shot dead by her boyfriend at the time, in the few moments before he turned the gun on himself.
“I heard him say,” I did something that I didn’t want to do it. I shot Margaret,'” Nash is dealt, saying that she hid under the bed for her mother when the incident occurred. “He said,” God, please forgive me,’ boom!”‘

That “boom” was the sound of the guy shooting himself in the stomach.
“I could hear him falling on the hardwood, and then I heard him drag [himself] right in front of the room, the room that I was hiding in. He decided to stop. I could hear my mother’s wailing in the back yard, ” Help me!” Jesus, help me! ” at the top of her throat.
“I was in that bed, and I was shaking, I’ve never been so scared in my life, and it was starting to get dark.”

The injured shooter was a fire in the house with Niecy was still hiding under the bed.
“He took a gas can and poured it all over my mom’s room and put it in the fire. I didn’t know it was a fire, because I happened to be on the ground. I heard my mother scream, and all of a sudden, something went through me, and said to him: “run!”
Nash discussed the incident at a fundraiser for STAND For Families Free of Violence, in the year 2010.

“When I was 15, I saw my mother get shot. Her boyfriend was very abusive, and he shot my mother with a sawed-off, double-barreled shotgun in front of her kids, Easter Sunday morning, shot her down like a dog in the street. Thankfully, my mother survived that incident.”
