Nicholas Hoult is being tipped for the title role in the biographical film, Tolkien.
According to Variety, the negotiations with the actor just started, but he is with dot at the top of the list from director Dome Karukoski.
The script of the movie is written by David Gleeson and Stephen Beresford and is on the early years of author J. R. R. Tolkien, which inspired during his school days, just before the outbreak of the First world War in 1914.
Between 1916 and 1920 he serves in the British army. After his studies he becomes a professor and starts with the writing of The Hobbit and the lord of the Ring.
The 27-year-old Hoult is soon to be seen as Nikola Tesla in the film The Current War. Also he goes again into the skin of The Beast in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
