Trump-haters FBI-lovers: What we know so far

Two top FBI officials are under fire for sharing anti-Trump-text-messages in the election of 2016. Peter Strzok and Lisa were both involved Special Counsel Robert Müller Russia probe and a boyfriend were, exchanged more than 50,000 text messages. Here is what we know so far.

Newly released text messages between FBI lover Peter Strzok and Lisa page say Barack Obama wanted to know “everything” the feds “do” could raise questions, the former President 2016 statement that he was not involved in the discussion of the pending probes.

The texts were part of a batch released by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., together with the majority of staff from the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Strzok and page, who worked for a short time on Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the team in the spotlight, since then, a whole series of anti-Trump-messages between them showed up in the last year.

In the new SMS-chain, from Sept. 2, 2016, page mentioned Obama in the framework of an information event for then-FBI Director James Comey.

“My cash 9:30 mtg on the 7,” Strzok texted page.

“I can tell you why, that you will meet. It is not what you think,” page answered.

“TPs [talking points] for D [Comey]?” Strzok asked.

“Yes, bc potus wants everything to be said to know what we do” Page.

The message suggested that Obama would be meeting with Comey about the FBI matter.

However, on April 10, 2016, Obama, Fox News’ Chris Wallace said that he had not any involvement in an ongoing FBI investigations, in the Hillary Clinton E-Mail probe.

“I’m not talking with the attorney General on the ongoing investigations. I’m not talking with the FBI Director about pending investigations,” Obama said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation by the justice Department or the FBI, not only in this case, but, in any case.”


It is unclear, from the texts, which went exactly Strzok and page, to talk to the obvious points for Comey. According to the Senate report, the text of the questions on Obama’s involvement in the Clinton-E-Mail-inquiry.

The conversation took place during an apparent lull in the Clinton E-Mail inquiry, if it is closed. In July 2016, Comey announced that Clinton was “extremely reckless” in their handling of classified information on your private server, but the face would be no fees. At the end of October, Comey announced that he’ll reconsider, investigation, the the Clinton.

The Strzok-page interview also came just days before Obama met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the G-20 summit, where he confronted him about cyber concerns in the midst of reports and intelligence emerge that Russia is experimenting 2016 presidential campaign.

A former deputy assistant to Obama, Colin Kahl, highlighted on Twitter a Daily Beast reporter, floated this meeting, as relevant, that the text exchange.

Also on Sept. 2, 2016, although the FBI released a full transcript, with redactions of his interview with Hillary Clinton as part of the E-Mail probe, along with a memo to the bureau of investigation to grasp of their use of a private E-Mail server during her tenure as Secretary of state.

After the mention of “potus,” Strzok alerted page “ break,” what the report would have been, “FBI documents Offer a Closer look at Hillary Clinton, the E-Mail request.”
