New season of National Geographic’s series Genius is about Aretha Franklin

The last year deceased singer Aretha Franklin is central in the third season of the National Geographic series Genius.

The station made the Sunday well-known that the story of the American journalist, who last summer at the age of 76 died, overrides that of Mary Shelley. The founder of Frankenstein was previously announced as the subject of the third season of Genius.

According to National Geographic is a series about the Shelley is not definitive of the job. The station is planning to be the script around her story in the future to get back to.

It is not yet known who Franklin is going to play in the third season, that in 2020 to be able to see.

The ‘Queen of Soul’ follows Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso, who were central in the first two seasons. The brilliant German scientist was played by Geoffrey Rush, and the quirky Spanish painter was played by Antonio Banderas.
