New Mexico police say 4 bodies found inside home after gunfire

The police in New Mexico are investigating the circumstances that led to four people being found dead from gunshot wounds on the day after christmas, in a nice house in a quiet residential area to the north of Albuquerque, new mexico.

Officers were called to the scene at 4:14 pm, in Rio Rancho, a city of roughly 94,000 residents, is where many of the houses were decorated with christmas lights.

No suspect is in custody in connection with the shooting, but authorities believe there was no threat to the general public was, that Capt. Andrew Rodriguez, from the Rio Rancho police department, told the Albuquerque Journal.

A woman who claimed to be a relative of the family, who lived in the house, and said to her brother and mother had gone inside and found two bodies. She told me that her family in a shot, and the victims were together on the night for a christmas Eve celebration and they were supposed to meet again on Wednesday.

“I just had a feeling that there was something funny going on, cause as of yesterday, in the evening, I had to tell you, my brother, and my heart was heavy, and the race, and I didn’t know why,” Rose Varona, told KRQE-TV of Albuquerque, new mexico.

“I really don’t understand what’s going on,” she added. “We’re trying to pull out of the power of God, even though we don’t understand what’s going on.”

The authorities have no information about the identity, age or relations of the victims. But the Rio Rancho police department said they would provide more information when they can.
