New Jersey woman is buying coffee for the man short of money, turns out Keith Urban

A substitute teacher in New Jersey, who thought they were helping a down and out man by paying for his coffee cup, appear to be country music star Keith Urban.


A New Jersey woman who thought she was to pay for a struggling man a cup of coffee at a gas station on Friday turned out to country music star Keith Urban.

Ruth Reed has a goal to once a week to pick up the tab for customers at a Medford English, so if Urban was short a few dollars of the substitute teacher stepped in to help, according to citing a Facebook post.

My favorite story of the day is how my 3rd grade teacher thought that @KeithUrban was down on his luck and couldn’t pay for his Dutch snacks, so she bought them for him. What an angel.

The singer thanked Reed and said that his name is Keith, which Reed to comment on his resemblance to Keith Urban.

A skeptical Reed asked his bodyguard to confirm that he is actually the famous musician.

“It was then I realized what an idiot I was,” Ruth said in the Facebook post.

The singer is set to perform Friday night in Camden.
