New ivf patients avoid UMC Utrecht after bevruchtingsfout
Since the ivf laboratory at UMC Utrecht at half power work after a temporary closure of the lab, many
new patients that a fertility treatment want to be diverted to other hospitals.
They are waiting on ivf – or ICSI-treatment in the Sint Antonius Nieuwegein, in the netherlands, the Meander Medical Centre in Amersfoort, the Diakonessenhuis in Utrecht and Rijnstate in Arnhem, the netherlands.
A spokesman let the AD know that most of the events in the St. Antonius take place, but that they are for the follicular puncture and transfer of the embryo to the Isala Clinics in Zwolle.

The lab of the UMC Utrecht, was temporarily closed after the end of december it became known that in the fertilization of oocytes of 26 women as possible, the sperm of the male of another pair are used.
