“New iPhone replaces the home button, by area, with virtual buttons

The next iPhone will be no physical home button, but a special part of the screen with virtual buttons.
That suggests at least the usually reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, reports 9to5Mac Thursday.
The change would only apply to the largest version of the iPhone 8, which is a OLED screen of 5.8 inches. Is expected to continue to, Apple iPhones in the current screen sizes of 4.7 and 5.5 inches, but are the changes for these models is less pronounced.
There were already rumors about the disappearance of the home button with integrated Touch ID finger print scanner. According to Kuo is not only a virtual home button for back, but a very ‘functional area’ where multiple buttons can be displayed.
It is unclear how adaptable this area will be, but it might leave Apple are inspired by the Touch Bar on the latest MacBook Pro. That special screen displays different buttons and features depending on the app that is being used.
The virtual buttons would constantly the lower part of the 5.8-inch screen taking. Outside of the buttons would be a space with a diameter of 5,15 inch remaining.
Because the finger print scanner disappears, Apple will have to rely on other biometric technology, writes Kuo. Previously went there with rumors of facial recognition by means of a laser sensor. Also would Apple work on a vingerscanner in which the display can be processed, but it is unclear whether that technology already this year can be used.
Recently wrote to Kuo that the iPhone 8 with OLED screen, a much larger battery capacity. Exact details about it are not known. It is expected that the new iPhones, like every year in september to be presented.
