Irakoze Ildephonse, 28, was arrested after police received a call about a burglary in an apartment complex in Concord, N. H.
A New Hampshire man was Wednesday arrested after he stripped naked, broke into an apartment and choked a golden retriever, two days after he was released on bail, police said.
Irakoze Ildephonse, 28, was arrested after police received a call about a burglary in an apartment complex in Concord. People have reported seeing a man in a bathrobe to walk around the building, WHDH reported.
Ildephonse eventually dumped in the mantle, climbed up on a porch on the first floor and threw the door that leads to the apartment, police said. The residents inside escaped and fled in a car.
The 28-year-old suspect allegedly began throwing items from the porch and stomped on broken glass when officers arrived on the scene. When officers tried to calm Ildephonse, he started throwing the shards of glass in them, police said.
The police arrested Ildephonse after they have a Taser on him.
Researchers later discovered a golden retriever, who appeared to be shocked and beaten. The dog was taken to the vet and is expected to recover, according to WHDH.
Ildephonse was taken to a medical facility before he was moved to the prison. He was arrested two days before for charging at the researchers looking to a stabbing case.
He was released on bail, only to be held on $ 15,000 bail, on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old is expected to be arraigned Thursday on various charges, including violation of bail conditions, cruelty to animals, burglary, indecent exposure, simple assault, reckless conduct and criminal mischief.
