New government of Curaçao under the leadership Rhuggenaath sworn
In Curacao it is Monday morning (local time), a new government under the leadership of Eugene Rhuggenaath sworn in. Thus is brought to an end a period of over two months, in which an interim government under the leadership of the MFF of Gerrit Schotte of Curaçao controlled.
The new government occurs a month after the last election, and will immediately work to create a social plan to combat poverty. In addition, the coalition under the leadership of Rhuggenaath pledged to work hard to more reliability in the financial field.
Curaçao experienced the past period a lot of political turmoil, with two elections in a short time, and political quarrels. The MFF of Schotte tried new elections, but The Hague put a stop to it.
The PAR of Rhuggenaath won at the end of april the elections on Curaçao. The PAR took it seats six, HUSBAND and five PIN one. Together, the parties have twelve seats of the total 21 seats in the Parliament. The MFF of Schotte won five.
