A pimp, brothel owner, and HBO’s adult-reality-star won the Republican primary for the Nevada state Legislature on Tuesday, The Reno Gazette-Journal reported.
Dennis Hof, the author of the book “The art of the pimp,” ousted James Oscarson, a three-term legislator and the hospital Board of Directors.

“It’s all because Donald Trump was Christopher Columbus for me,” Hof told the Associated Press. “He found the way and I jumped up.”
The yard called himself “The trumpet of Pahrump,” in reference to his Pahrump, Nevada residence. Hoff face Democrat Lesia Romanov in November, and it is the favored candidate of the Republican-leaning Assembly district.

To close, a measure that proposes to Nevada – November-ballot brothels in the counties where they are legally operating system. Hof, whose half-a-dozen brothels affected by the measure, derided the effort as a political vengeance on his opponents.
Oscarson and the referendum backers deny any connection.
Most of the brothels operating in the rural areas of Nevada, but illegal in the counties, which contain Las Vegas and Reno. The yard said on Tuesday that he is downsizing his business due to the sale of some of the brothels, in order to focus more on the policy.
Oscarson and yard previously faced off in the year 2016, when the yard ran for the seat as a Libertarian. Oscarson won with 60 percent of the vote.
