‘Netflix negotiates series about rassenspanningen in USA”
Netflix is likely to be with a drama series in which the recent racial tensions in the US are central.
According to Deadline, the streaming service is in the final stage of negotiations on the ten-part show.
Although Seven Seconds is pure fiction, the story is reminiscent of recent American cases of police brutality and subsequent protests.
The series is about a shooting in Jersey City, where a black boy is in critical condition, touch and riots broke out among the black clouds and the predominantly white police.
The program is created by Veena Sud, previously responsible for the American version of The Killing.
