Nepal contradicts that busyness is the cause of deaths on Mount Everest

The tourism authority of Nepal contradicts that the increase of the number of deaths on Mount Everest mainly has to do with the large crowds. That says the organization Sunday against the BBC.

In this klimseizoen are all ten climbers dead or missing hit. News agency AFP and CNN reported earlier that the large crowds on the mountain part in the death of the persons.

The director of the tourist office denies this and emphasizes that other factors, including adverse weather conditions have played a role in the increase of the number of deaths.

Last week, there are photos of large ‘congestion’ on the mountain shared. That made it possible for that climbers are not timely and could be.

The government of Nepal has this year a record number of 378 trekking / climbing permits granted to climbers.

That is a lucrative opportunity for the poor country, because mountaineers have converted 10,000 euros to pay the world’s highest mountain (8.848 metres).
