NBC ‘s” Meet the Press’ host Chuck Todd called in New York-a freshman Congressman Alexandria Ocasio-cortex for doing of migrants “a tremendous disservice” by comparing the U.S. prison camp on the US border to Nazi concentration camps.

Todd said Wednesday that the Nazi death and concentration camps “are not comparable in the least,” what’s going on at the border.

“Can our government, the detention of migrants at our southern border is many things, depending on how you see it—it is a stain on our nation is, perhaps, a necessary evil, and others,” said Todd. “But you know what, you can’t call it?”, he asked, before airing a clip of Ocasio-Cortez’s controversial remarks.

Todd said, the use of the term “concentration camp” just distracts from the debate to find a solution for the humanitarian crisis on the southern border.

Todd also criticized Democrats such as New York’s Democratic Republic, Jerry Nadler, were reluctant to condemn Ocasio-Cortez remarks. “One of the lessons of the Holocaust,” Never Again, ” Nadler tweeted on Tuesday. “We fail to learn that lesson, if we don’t callout such inhumanity, directly in front of us.”

“Why are we so shy to the people with whom we agree politically these days?” Todd asked the audience. He claimed that the Problem exists on both sides of the aisle—including both Republicans and Democrats.
